On May 14 & 15 the XDL Championship Series will return to Nashville Superspeedway in Lebanon, Tennessee to hold Round 3 of the 2010 schedule. The event has been expanded to two days to accommodate all the action, and a new off-track program has been added to round out the festivities. May 14 will be "XDL School Night", a special promotion that allows all kids under 18 to come and check out XDL for free. May 15 is XDL Main Event Day, featuring the Aprilia All Star Challenge, K&N Circle Challenge, Speed & Strength Sickest Trick as well as the FMF Cup, capped off by a meet and greet that allows fans to interact with all the athletes.
In 2010 XDL is setting out to convert all of its shows into festivals and as part of that effort, current XDL champion and factory Yamaha/Warrior rider Bill Dixon will be at Precision Motorsports on Thursday night for a special XDL meet & greet. That is followed by the Revolution MC Bike Night at scoreboard the same night. Friday is XDL School Night followed by Ladies Night at Mai in Nashville. Saturday kicks off with several rides: the MAFT rides from Memphis and Knoxville and the RMC/XDL ride from Nashville, all ending at the race track in the afternoon. The XDL main event will run in conjunction with the Share The Road Festival, a free event that promotes motorcycle awareness, and we will attempt to set a world record for the largest bike wash. If that isn't enough, we will end the week with an after party at the Wild Beaver Saloon in downtown Nashville.
"The Nashville effort has been an amazing collaboration between the Nashville bike scene and its many motorcycle clubs, MAFT, Share The Road, our friends at WBUZ/WPRT, and of course Red Bull. If it weren't for everyone pitching in to help out we wouldn't have such a great program." Continued XDL founder Randy Grube: "Nashville is a real hotbed of the sportbike freestyle scene and we love coming here. Everyone is great to work with and so genuinely friendly. This is our third year here and we plan on making this our best event yet."
Tickets are $10 on Friday and $20 on Saturday. Group discounts and online specials are available. Contact randy@xdlshow.com or visit http://xdl.vbotickets.com. Everyone purchasing online at XDL's new ticket web site will receive a free copy of XDL Magazine and there are no service charges.

XDL is the only championship of its kind and is the leader in reaching the core 20-year old sportbike demographic. Each XDL event features the world's most skilled sportbike riders squaring off in seven unique competitions for over $10,000 in prize money. Since its inception in 2006 the series has built a global following in places as far off as Japan, Australia, France, Thailand and Eastern Europe, and in the process emerged as the fastest growing action sport in America. The stateside event series schedule includes Daytona Beach, Lake Havasu City, Nashville, Los Angeles and Indianapolis. New for 2010, XDL Magazine was launched in time for the season opener and provides a comprehensive overview of the series and its athletes. The new line of XDL apparel is available at http://www.xdlstore.com. And on October 12th, Inside XDL, a documentary drama on the series and its athletes will premier on Versus Network. |
